in the Kashmir area.
Gulmarg. Gulmarg is a ski resort located about
50 kilometers outside of the main city in Kashmir. Gulmarg takes
visitors up to the highest point of the mountains and allows them
to ski or snowboard. Even if you aren’t a traveler who likes
to ski or snowboard it is worth the trip up the mountain just to
see the sights and beautiful snow capped landscape. Many tourists
have described visiting Gulmarg as feeling as if they were a step
closer to heaven.
Dal Lake. Dal Lake is a beautiful, serene lake
that is located in the Srinagar area. Tourists are able to rent
out patio boats and various boating vessels that can be taken out
onto the lake. If you are looking for a place that will make you
feel as if you are in a dream and just floating down a calm body
of water, surrounding by some amazing sights then Dal Lake is the
place to visit.
Mughal Gardens. The Mughal Gardens are located
in Srinagar and really offer breathtaking views all around. The
gardens are filled with beautiful plant and flower life that really
comes to life. Each plant and flower is selected for the beautiful
colors that it can offer people. If you are looking for a chance
to view some of Kashmir’s unique plant and flower life then
the Mughal Gardens are the place to visit. |
